The Alumni Committee was established with the specific aim of fostering relations between the Alumni and the Institute, strengthening the bond between Alumni and current students. Recognizing alumni as significant stakeholders, the committee serves as a vital link, fostering ongoing engagement. Beyond their role as contributors to the institute's growth, alumni play a crucial part in guiding and providing valuable feedback to their juniors, particularly in the realm of career opportunities.
Frequency of meeting: Once per year (In the months of April to June)
Objectives:
- To promote and encourage close relations between the college and its alumni.
- To develop in the alumni, an interest in the affairs and well-being of the college.
- To provide and disseminate information regarding their Alma Matter, Faculties and students, to the alumni.
- To initiate and develop programs that will benefit the alumni.
- To help the college in its pursuit for academic excellence.
- To guide and assist alumni who have recently completed their courses to obtain employment in schools/colleges and engage in productive pursuits useful to society.
- To organize reunion activities of the Alumni.
- To collect, publish and distribute useful information to the alumni and their Alma Mater.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute various alumni events such as reunions, networking sessions, and social gatherings to bring alumni together.
- Collaborate with the alumni to facilitate placement and offer career guidance for current students.
- Act as a bridge between the Alumni and the institution by collecting feedback from alumni for improvements.
- Plan and promote a platform for interaction between all stakeholders.
- Maintain an up-to-date and detailed database of the Alumni.
