M.A.M. College of Engineering and Technology inaugurated its First-Year B.E./B.Tech. 2025–2026 batch on 18.08.2025 by 10.00am with the theme “எண்ணம் போல் வாழ்வு”. The chief guest was introduced by  

Ms M.S.Subbulakshmi, Assistant Professor of English, MAMCET. The Chief Guest Dr. A. Kaliyamurthy, Former Superintendent of Police and Internationally Acclaimed Orator inspired students to channel their thoughts towards noble ideals and it alone will lead them to success. He also advised the parents not to force their ideas on their children. An awareness was given to the parents about how they become their children’s first role models from whom they learn. He highlighted how Indian mothers are greater than the mothers of other countries in getting the best education to their children. In his speech he inspired the students by how he was motivated by his teacher when he was in his school and has attained this height. This served as an eye opener for the faculty members to identify their responsibilities as a mentor to the students. The event, started with the welcome address by the Principal Dr. X. Susan Christina and presided over by Dr. M. A. Maluk Mohamed, Chairman. Felicitations were rendered by Mrs. Fathima Bathool Maluk, CEO, MASTeR GI, Dr.B.Muruganantham, Registrar and Dr S.Rjasekaran and Dean MASTeR GI. In the afternoon an Orientation for the I year students was given Dr. M. A. Maluk Mohamed, Chairman, MASTeR GI and Co-Founder &Vice President (Research), Head, Indian Operations – Twin Health Inc. Dr N.Saivaraju, Head- Science and Humanities proposed the vote of thanks.
