Smart India Hackathon 2025-“SANKALPANA 2.0”

M.A.M. College of Engineering and Technology proudly hosted “Sankalpana 2.0”, an internal hackathon for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, on Tuesday, 16th September 2025, at the ECE Seminar Hall. The event was organized with the objective of fostering innovation and creativity among students, providing them with a platform to showcase their problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and teamwork.

The event commenced at 9:30 AM with the arrival of the resource person, Mr. Shree Balaji K, Founder & CEO of Hilife.ai / Hiskill Academy. The program was coordinated by Dr. Mary Beula A (Head/AI&DS, MAMCET) and Mr. Jeeva S (AP/MECH, MAMCET). The internal jury members-Ms. Hemalatha B (AP/ECE), Ms. Mathumitha M (AP/IT), and Mr. Raja T (AP/MECH)-were also present to evaluate the projects and guide the students.

The Principal, Dr. Susan Christina X, graced the occasion by interacting with the participants and reviewing the project ideas of the teams. A total of 45 teams enthusiastically participated in the hackathon, each presenting innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Throughout the day, students actively engaged in brainstorming, coding, and prototyping, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise. The jury provided insightful feedback, helping teams improve and refine their projects further.

The event concluded at 4:30 PM, marking a successful day filled with collaboration, innovation, and practical learning. Sankalpana 2.0 stood as a testament to the department’s commitment to empowering students with experiential knowledge and industry-readiness.

The event concluded with insightful feedback from the judges and participants, and a heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Mayuri of III-year AI-DS Department, marking the successful closure of Sankalpana 2.0.
